After announcing themselves on the world stage with their explosive 2019 debut album Secrets, the band followed with The Collab Project in 2021 - an EP and mental-health initiative created alongside some of the biggest names in rock. Featuring Sonny Sandoval (P.O.D), Kellin Quinn (Sleeping With Sirens), Trenton Woodley (Hands Like Houses) and Sydney Rae White (The Wild Things), the project earned critical acclaim, millions of streams, and became a powerful message of unity for fans around the world.
Renowned for their highly energetic and immersive live show, Written By Wolves have shared stages with Machine Gun Kelly, Limp Bizkit, Pendulum, Sublime With Rome, Suicidal Tendencies, Hed PE, Falling In Reverse, Escape The Fate, We The Kings, Four Year Strong, Stevie Stone, Kehlani, and have repeatedly toured New Zealand with local legends Devilskin and Blindspott.
They have since become one of New Zealand’s most-streamed rock bands, surpassing 350,000 monthly listeners, 66,000 followers, and 100 million streams on Spotify alone, while amassing over 151,000 subscribers and 128 million views on YouTube. Their singles ‘Not Afraid To Die’, ‘Genius’, and ‘Timebombs & Hurricanes’ all received Highly Commended Awards in the prestigious International Songwriting Competition, and recent releases GIVE ’EM HELL and MISERY stormed the SMR charts for mainstream and active rock radio across the U.S.
In 2024 the band released their highly anticipated sophomore album The Lighthouse, a record that cemented Written By Wolves’ evolution into a darker, more cinematic and emotionally charged era. Receiving widespread critical acclaim and passionate fan response, The Lighthouse marked a major creative leap and set the stage for the band’s biggest touring year to date, including their first-ever headline tours across Europe, the UK and Australia.
To celebrate ten years of Written By Wolves, the band released The Archives in late 2025 and capped off the year with a sold-out 10th Anniversary Show, a landmark moment that underscored their momentum and celebrated all that WBW had become in the last decade.
