FIRTAN bring their Helios Tour to Berlin. For over a decade, FIRTAN have been a relentless force in the German extreme metal scene, captivating audiences across Europe. Rooted in the raw energy of 90s black metal, the Lörrach band have evolved into something more progressive and singular: powerful guitars and visceral vocals fused with the haunting presence of acoustic and electric violin, which weaves through their compositions in melancholic, experimental and evocative tones.
This autumn they premiere their fifth album, Helios (out 2 October via AOP Records) – a record that fuses the atmospheric ferocity of black metal with the crushing weight of death metal, charting "the brutal path to enlightenment: not as escape, but as conquest.
