LNGSHOT is a teenage boy group from Jay Park’s independent label MORE VISION, built on the belief that a new generation of Korean artists can move with more freedom, authorship and instinct. Made up of Ohyul, Ryul, Woojin, and Louis, the group takes its name from “long shot,” a fearless strike meant to defy the odds. Since making their official debut in January 2026 with SHOT CALLERS, LNGSHOT has rapidly emerged as one of the most talked-about new acts in global music, growing to more than five million monthly Spotify listeners, hundreds of millions of streams globally, and millions of followers across TikTok and Instagram in just a few months.
The group was formed around the idea of moving beyond traditional K-pop frameworks and creating music shaped by the members’ own personalities, influences, and coming-of-age experiences. Before officially debuting, LNGSHOT released 4SHOBOIZ MIXTAPE, a self-produced project that established an artist-led foundation from the outset. They followed with SHOT CALLERS, which introduced songs like “Moonwalkin’,” “FaceTime,” and “Never Let Go,” helping transform the group from one of Korea’s most intriguing newcomers into a global phenomenon. In March, they released Training Day, a collection of trainee-era recordings that offered fans a closer look at the group’s development before debut and reinforced the unusually direct relationship they have built with their audience.
That connection has become a defining part of LNGSHOT’s rise. As teenagers growing up in public, the group moves with a spontaneity and immediacy that feels increasingly rare in contemporary pop music. Fans have responded not only to the music itself, but to the members’ chemistry, ambition, humor, vulnerability, and visible growth. Rather than presenting a finished product, LNGSHOT has invited audiences into the process, allowing them to witness the group’s evolution as it unfolds.
The group's rapid ascent has been matched by growing international recognition. Their breakout single “Moonwalkin’” has surpassed 45 million YouTube views, while fan favorites like “FaceTime” and “Never Let Go” have accumulated more than 50 million streams. Billboard Korea named LNGSHOT its K-Pop Rookie of the Month in February 2026 and they’ve earned international support from the likes of Genius, Buzzfeed, MTV, Complex and more. Beyond streaming success, they have continued to build a global presence through performances at ComplexCon Hong Kong, MIDEM in Cannes, and 88rising’s Head In The Clouds Festival in Tokyo.
In May 2026, LNGSHOT entered a new chapter with 4SHOBOIZ Vol. 2: 4SHOVILLE, a collaborative mixtape with Jay Park that pushed further into the sonic foundations of hip-hop. More than a collaboration between CEO and artist, the project reflects the shared mentality that connects them, combining Jay Park’s experience and independent philosophy with LNGSHOT’s youthful perspective and momentum. Together, they represent two generations of Korean music meeting at a pivotal moment, one looking back on a path it helped create and the other beginning to chart where it might go next.
Still at the beginning of their story, LNGSHOT has already become one of the most compelling young groups to emerge from Korea in recent years. Their rise has been remarkably fast, but what continues to set them apart is not simply the scale of their success. It is the sense that they are building their identity in public, bringing audiences along for the journey, and helping define what the next generation of Korean artists can look and sound like.
