Der Saalbau liegt gegenüber dem Neustadter Hauptbahnhof und in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Innenstadt, ist also für Besucher optimal zu erreichen.
Die Anreise mit dem öffentlichen Personennahverkehr:
der S-Bahn-Verkehr zwischen Neustadt an der Weinstraße und Kaiserslautern bzw. Osterburken im Odenwald verkehrt halbstündlich. Auch die Nord-Süd-Verbindung nach Bad Dürkheim/Freinsheim und Karlsruhe oder Wissembourg im Elsaß über Landau bietet zahlreiche Anreisemöglichkeiten.
Für die gesamte Pfalz (einschließlich der Kurpfalz und Westpfalz), die Weinstraße und die Stadt mit ihren neun Weindörfern, gibt es einen bestens ausgebauten öffentlichen Personennahverkehr, in denen die Tarife des Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Neckar (VRN) gelten.
Richtung Innenstadt fahren, der Ausschilderung zum Bahnhof und Saalbau folgen.
Öffentliche Parkplätze befinden sich rund um den Saalbau. Am besten ist es, den auf der Straße eingezeichneten Parkplatzausschilderung zu folgen. In nächster Nähe des Saalbaus befindet sich das Parkhaus der Hetzelgalerie (Öffnungszeiten Mo – Sa von 7.00 Uhr bis 23.00 Uhr, die Ausfahrt ist immer möglich)
Links neben dem Hauptportal ist der Zugang für Rollstuhlfahrer. Direkt davor befinden sich mehrere Behindertenparkplätze. Über den Aufzug lassen sich alle Ebenen des Foyers erreichen. In der ansteigenden Theaterbestuhlung sind in der Reihe 1, die Plätze 1 und 27 sowie in der Reihe 21, die Plätze 1 und 27 als Rollstuhlfahrerplätze vorgesehen, da diese für Rollstuhlfahrer leicht erreichbar sind. Im unteren Foyer befinden sich 2 Toiletten für Behinderte.
