Back in 2024 four musician called Marton formed a band to begin their interdimensional pilgrimage. Their sound came from ancient pyramids and desert caravans - from the fusion jazz of 70s ’till the stoner grooves of the millenium. Their first EP, Gathering Axis, was released in 2025, and a year after they are dropping the bands first LP “Reincarnation of a moment” in 2026 november.
Abanamat’s music propels you through space and time at light speed - while standing perfectly still. It’s heavy yet ethereal, intense yet serene. Based in Berlin, this genre-defying quartet brings together musicians from different counties, creating a rich cultural fusion that shapes their distinctive atmospheric sound.Their compositions blend jazzy chord progressions and Afrobeat-inspired rhythms with crushing riffs and soaring solos, crafting a sonic experience that is as heady as it is hard-hitting. Abanamat delivers a sound that speaks to the soul while shaking the ground beneath your feet - pure ecstasy for any headbanger.
