Der Essen Hauptbahnhof ist ca. 1 km entfernt und in 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Die U-Bahn-Stationen Viehofer Platz und Rheinischer Platz liegen in ca. 200 m Entfernung.
Nahverkehr VRR:
Ab Essen Hbf mit der Straßenbahn 101 (Richtung Germaniaplatz) oder 105 (Richtung Unterstraße) bis zur Haltestelle Rheinischer Platz. Oder Straßenbahn Linie 106 und 107 (Richtung Viehofer Platz) bis zur Haltestelle Viehofer Platz. (Fahrtzeit jeweils ca. 3 Minuten).
Fußweg:
Von der Haltestelle Rheinischer Platz (Ausgang Pferdemarkt) aus links orientieren und links in die Friedrich-Ebert-Straße einbiegen. Dann in die erste Straße links, die Rottstraße, einbiegen. Dem Straßenverlauf ca. 50 m folgen - linkerhand liegend das Gebäude GOP Varieté.
Von der Haltestelle Viehofer Platz
(Ausgang Pferdemarkt) rechts die Fußgängerbrücke verlassen – nach ca. 200 m geradeaus liegt linkerhand das Gebäude GOP Varieté.
A 40 Richtung Bochum:
Abfahrt Essen Zentrum (Ost). Rechts halten und geradeaus dem Straßenverlauf folgen auf mittlerer Spur bis unter „City Center“-Passage. Dort links auf den Porscheplatz abbiegen und weiter auf die Fontänengasse, die nach ca. 200 m rechts in die Rottstraße mündet. (Fahrtzeit ca. 4 Minuten) Venuepage GOP Varieté-Theater Essen
A 40 Richtung Duisburg:
Abfahrt Essen Huttrop. An der ersten großen Kreuzung halb rechts abbiegen auf die Steeler Straße. Nach ca. 1 km rechts auf die Bernestraße abbiegen. Nach ca. 300m auf mittlerer Spur bis unter die "City Center"-Passage. Dort links auf den Porscheplatz abbiegen und weiter auf die Fontänengasse, die nach ca. 200 m rechts in die Rottstraße mündet. (Fahrtzeit ca. 4 Minuten)
A 42:
Abfahrt Autobahnkreuz Essen-Nord auf B 224 (Gladbecker Straße) Richtung Essen. 5 km geradeaus bis Eisenbahnbrücke – dort rechts abbiegen und der Beschilderung folgen. An der ersten Kreuzung links in die Gegenrichtung zurück und nach ca. 50 m rechts einbiegen in die Rottstraße. (Fahrtzeit ca. 15 Minuten)
Parkhaus „Kastanienhöfe"- Kastanienallee 25, direkt gegenüber vom GOP.Varieté-Theater. Hier können Sie als GOP Gast bis zu 4 Stunden zu einem ermäßigten Preis von 3 Euro parken. Das Parkhaus ist 24 Stunden geöffnet und videoüberwacht. Tickets werden an der Garderobe rabattiert.
