In einer Zeit von Disney(k)einerlei und zig Jukeboxmusicals ohne tiefes Storytelling ist Wir sind am Leben mal wieder Qualität made in Germany. Musikalisch und choregrafisch ein Kracher, den die Cast hervorragend auf die Bühne bringt. Das Finale ist Emotionen pur und schreit nach mehr. Die Geschichte ist zwar sehr gaybetont, aber nicht klischeehaft sondern teilweise extrem brutal mit viel Tiefgang. Da hat man viel geistigen Input und trotzdem am Ende ein positives Gefühl das Leben zu feiern.
