Jede MiR-Eintrittskarte gilt gleichzeitig als Ticket für den VRR und bietet damit die Möglichkeit, kostenlos zum MiR und wieder nach Hause zu kommen. Vom Hauptbahnhof Gelsenkirchen sind es nur zwei Straßenbahnhaltestellen bis zur Station "Musiktheater", die von den Linien 107, 301 und 302 sowie diversen Buslinien angefahren wird.
Nutzen Sie den Taxiservice des MiR und bestellen Sie vor der Vorstellung an der Programmheft-Theke in der Kassenhalle Ihr Theatertaxi! Je nach Ziel kostet Sie die Fahrt pro Person nur zwischen 4 und 8 Euro.

Das Musiktheater im Revier ist mit seinen Spielstätten, dem Kleinen und dem Großen Haus vollkommen barrierefrei. Alle Bühnenräume sind für Rollstuhlfahrer und gehbehinderte Menschen auch per Fahrstuhl erreichbar. Im Rahmen unserer Audiodeskription HÖR.OPER für sehbehinderte Theaterfreunde bieten wir eine besondere Art der Vorbereitung auf einen Vorstellungsbesuch an: Wir führen Sie durch das Bühnenbild und geben dabei Gelegenheit zum Ertasten von Requisiten und Kostümen. Dazu werden Handlung und Hintergründe des entsprechenden Stückes erläutert. Besonders geeignet für kleinere Gruppen.
