Das Theater an der Parkaue hat keine eigenen Parkplätze. Das nächste Parkhaus ist im Ring-Center, Frankfurter Allee (Mo – Sa, 06:30 – 22:00 Uhr, maximal 6 € am Tag).

Der Haupteingang des Theaters ist nicht stufenlos zugänglich. Es gibt eine Stufe (15 cm hoch). Der Zugang erfolgt dann über zwei hintereinander liegende Schwingtüren (180 cm und 164 cm breit), die nicht automatisch geöffnet werden können, bei Veranstaltungen aber in der Regel fest aufgestellt sind. Die Theaterkasse befindet sich auf der linken Seite. Sie ist aufgrund ihrer Tresenhöhe (1,30 m) nicht für alle Menschen barrierefrei zugänglich und nicht unterfahrbar. Der Raum ist hellhörig, am Kassentresen ist eine Gegensprechanlage installiert.
Der barrierefreie Eingang befindet sich am Nebeneingang rechts im Hof ca. 30 Meter entfernt (Automatiktür mit Türöffner rechts, nach außen öffnend, Breite: 91 cm). Der Bodenbelag besteht aus Kopfsteinpflaster. Vom barrierefreien Nebeneingang kommend, befindet sich die Theaterkasse auf der linken Seite. Sie ist über eine Glastür (180 cm breit) zu erreichen, die bei Veranstaltungen fest geöffnet ist. Außerhalb von Veranstaltungen ist diese Tür geschlossen.
Toiletten
Das Theater an der Parkaue hat nur eine barrierefreie Toilette. Diese befindet sich im Erdgeschoss im zentralen Garderobenfoyer gegenüber dem Aufzug. Die Tür ist 93 cm breit und öffnet nach außen. Es gibt keinen automatischen Türöffner, an der Innenseite ist zusätzlich ein Zugseil angebracht.
Links und rechts der Toilette befinden sich Haltegriffe, die hochgeklappt werden können. Das Waschbecken befindet sich auf einer Höhe von 82 cm und ist unterfahrbar. Es gibt einen akustischen und optischen Alarmauslöser.
Stufenlos erreichbare Toiletten befinden sich außerdem im Garderobenfoyer und an der Bühne 3. Im 2. Obergeschoss ist eine Toilette über 2 Stufen erreichbar (15 cm hoch). Wickeltische in den Sanitärräumen sind gekennzeichnet, die Tische sind nicht unterfahrbar (Höhe 94 cm, ca. 50 cm Auflagebreite).
Im Theater gibt es keine explizit geschlechtsneutralen Toiletten. Nicht-binäre, Inter* und Trans*-Personen sind willkommen, die Toilette zu benutzen, in der sie sich am wohlsten fühlen.
Aufzug
Der Aufzug zur Bühne 1 und zur Bar befindet sich im zentralen Garderobenfoyer auf der linken Seite. Die Kabine ist 105 cm x 210 cm groß, die Tür ist 90 cm breit. Der Aufzug ist nicht mit Braille- oder Profilbeschriftung ausgestattet und verfügt über keine Sprachausgabe.
Theatersaal Bühne 1
Die Bühne 1 befindet sich im 2. Stock. Der Zugang zum Saal erfolgt über das obere Foyer. Das obere Foyer ist über die Treppe an der Theaterkasse oder den Aufzug im Garderobenfoyer erreichbar. Die Saaltüren sind 175 cm breit und zum Einlass geöffnet. An den Saaltüren steht Einlasspersonal.
Die Bühne 1 verfügt über 380 Plätze in 23 Platzreihen. Reihe 1 – 7 sind ebenerdig, in Reihe 8 und 9 gibt es eine Stufe (21,5 cm) zum Sitzplatz. In Reihe 10 und 11 sind zwei Stufen (2x 17 cm) zu überwinden. Ab Reihe 12 gibt es rechts und links außen eine Treppe mit 25 Stufen (17 cm) bis in Reihe 23. An der Wand der Treppe befindet sich jeweils ab Reihe 11 ein Handlauf.
Theatersaal Bühne 2
Die Bühne 2 ist ebenerdig; bitte beachtet, dass der Zugang zum Saal über den Hof erfolgt und vom Einlasspersonal begleitet wird. Der Bodenbelag besteht aus Kopfsteinpflaster. Es gibt Flügeltüren (87 cm bzw. 176 cm breit), die zum Einlass geöffnet sind. Es ist eine Schwelle von 4 cm zu überwinden.
Die Bühne 2 verfügt über 140 Plätze in 7 Platzreihen. Die erste Reihe ist ebenerdig. Der Zugang ab Reihe 2 erfolgt über Stufen (17 cm hoch) mit einseitigem Handlauf.
Theatersaal Bühne 3
Die Bühne 3 ist ebenerdig. Der Zugang erfolgt über den Hof mit Kopfsteinpflaster (ca. 10 m Weg); es müssen drei Türen passiert werden, die bei Veranstaltungen fest geöffnet sind (min. 83 cm breit, mit zwei Schwellen von max. 3 cm). Die Saaltür ist 87 cm breit und zum Einlass geöffnet. Das Einlasspersonal ist vor Ort. Die Bühne 3 verfügt über 90 Plätze in 7 Platzreihen. Der Zugang erfolgt über Stufen durch einen Mittelgang ohne Handläufe.
Studio 2
Das Studio 2 liegt ebenerdig. Der Zugang erfolgt vom zentralen Garderobenfoyer durch einen Flur (min. 93 cm breit); es müssen 5 Türen passiert werden, die bei Veranstaltungen fest geöffnet sind (min. 90 cm breit). Die Saaltür ist min. 87 cm breit und zum Einlass geöffnet. Das Einlasspersonal ist vor Ort.
Das Studio 2 verfügt über maximal 100 Plätze. Die Bestuhlung ist veranstaltungsspezifisch eingerichtet; bitte informieren Sie vorab den Veranstalter.
